About THOMAS
I served as a Navy broadcast journalist from 1986 through 1991. I immediately found work out of the service while I completed my bachelors degree at Temple University. I was a journalist for 20 years. I was employed steadily until February 2020, when I left a job as public information officer for my local township government to take care of a family health matter. Unfortunately, this coincided with the COVID crisis, and after the family matter was taken care of, I naturally found it very difficult to find a job.
I am now working for a contractor as a writer and editor--the company works with the federal government. However, I'd like to find a firm where I can work as a communications professional, preferably for the remainder of my career. I'd be pretty dedicated, that's for certain.
I love writing, but have found that I'm quite a good project manager as well. I'm an avid reader, and love films and riding my bike. I love (and miss) travel and exploring cities, in the U.S. and abroad. I'm a bit of an architecture geek and enjoy connecting with new people.
