How does the advisor system work?

Veteran

THOMAS WALSH Cleveland, OH

I've just signed up, and am here because I am a pre-9/11 vet. I know with the regular ACP for post-9/11 vets, one gets paired up with a mentor.

I'm seven-plus months unemployed now, and really need some help in landing a job. What should my next step be with your service?

Thank you!

Hi Thomas,

AdvisorNet is more like a Q&A forum than a matching service. So if you pose a specific question, the community will chime in to give some insight.

As to your search for your next job, take a look through some of the tips already posted here. Also consider networking and reaching out to people in your field via LinkedIn or Veterati. Start building relationships for the purpose of learning. Job opportunities will follow.

Let me know if you have specific questions.
-Scott!

Thank you, Scott. I'll do that.
I just joined Veterati about an hour ago. I'm currently enrolled in FourBlock, where I heard about both groups last evening.
Have a great day.
Tom
