About Chuck
Chuck Burger is a Project Management & Planning Operations Principal for the Lockheed Martin Corporation. In this role he advises programs in areas related to contractor business systems compliance. Headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, Lockheed Martin is a worldwide global security, aerospace and information technology company that is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services.
Chuck has extensive program and financial management experience obtained during a career in the aerospace and/or other high technology industries. His background includes program performance management, program planning & scheduling, performance measurement and reporting, proposal management including preparation, fact finding and negotiations, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Chuck also has led or supported extensive program and/or process review audits including baseline reviews, EVMS compliance and validation reviews including reviews for cause, and ISO certification reviews. He has broad experience across a variety of USG (USAF, USN, NASA, DCMA/DCAA, DOE, JPL, numerous USG support contractors) and international organizations (Japan Space Authority, Alcatel, Telespazio, Asia Cellular – Indonesia, Taiwan, and India).
Chuck earned an MBA from Saint Joseph’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Spring Garden College. He is a LM Certified Level 2 Program Control Manager, has received the prestigious LM Earned Value Excellence Recognition (LEVER) Award, and is a certified ISO Registered Quality Auditor.
