About me: I was in the United States Air Force for 4 years in communications and also did some work with the combat communication squadron. I have been out since 2019 and have made it my mission to give back to other veterans and military personnel that are interested in cyber security. Since 2019, I have worked in the civilian sector in a number of roles from SOC to being the Director of Cybersecurity for a financial institution. I joined ACP as an advisor to help guide those trying to break into cyber security or those that are in IT and would like suggestions on how to progress.
Goals: I am currently halfway through my CISSP program and test out date is 11/2023. I am also very involved in practicing and studying offensive cyber security to be better at defensive cyber security. I have a lot of experience in using various tools both offensive and defensive. I am also involved with NATO & CISA for the Locked Shields exercise.

I am a cyber security professional with experience working with NATO. I have 15 years in threat mitigation policies, vulnerability assessments, training staff, incident response strategies, program management, NIST & ISO policies, and cyber defense strategies with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Certified in threat mitigation, incident response, penetration testing professional, Veeam certified engineer. Director of cybersecurity that has spearheaded mission-critical projects and is eager to face challenges head on. Seeking positions that will foster continued growth professionally, personally, & push my blue team skills further.
