About Ed
I'm a 64 year old retired business executive and former business owner. I graduated from high school in 1971 and have attended college level courses, most with a focus on aviation.
I served 7 years on active and reserve duty in the US Air Force as a law enforcement specialist and aircraft weapons mechanic assigned to locations in the U. S., Europe and Southeast Asia. Following my service I had careers as a flight instructor, commercial pilot and in air traffic control.
In 1989 I, along with a partner, started a healthcare business that grew to employ 18 professionals and support staff with annual revenues of $4 million. My primary role was managing administrative operations. I sold my company in 2012.
I enjoy outdoor activities, especially backpacking and fly fishing and have traveled extensively throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia and South America. I also serve as a volunteer adviser and facilitator for Opportunity Knocks, a small business advisory organization.
