About Erik

Director of Marketing and Communications at GGU Law, and in his spare time he works as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) at a tech startup in San Francisco. Experienced with undergrad, law school programs, business operations and startups.

He is a wounded Army combat veteran and NCO, having served seven years with the 101st Airborne Division and the U.S. Army Reserves (final two years). After his service in the active duty, Erik obtained two bachelor's degrees, his law degree (J.D.), and worked at the California Supreme Court before becoming the Director of Marketing and Communications at a Bay Area law school. His passion for business and innovation led him to work as an adviser for tech startups in San Francisco, and he later became the COO of a Bay Area tech startup.

His work at GGU Law includes the development of a Veterans Legal Advocacy Center, which works with the Bay Area's Veterans Treatment Court. He is also a founding member of Student Veterans of America, and he is the cofounder of the UC Hastings Student Veterans Organization.
