Look into St. Marys College in Moraga, CA. Less expensive areas to live in close by. They may still have an evening program so more experienced students and if you need to work while attending may be good fit.
Try John K Kennedy Univ
I may be a little biased, but the law school that I work for, Golden Gate University School of Law is very military friendly, although it is in San Francisco, which is fantastically expensive at the moment.
My best advice is to look into a school that interests you, then see if they have a Yellow Ribbon Program. That's usually the best indicator of their friendliness to veterans. Next, call them to ask whether they offer the Yellow Ribbon Program to "all qualifying applicants." This is important as many schools will claim they participate in the program, but only offer the program to a set number of applicants. This means you may apply and be a qualifying veteran, but they might not give you the tuition benefits because they've already filled those slots.
Finally, look into Vocational Rehabilitation - you can use this in lieu of your GI Bill to cover the costs of your tuition and cost of living. It goes a lot further at covering the huge costs of law school tuition & books.

Try the University of Arizona - it worked for me. I am a Vietnam vet.
