Have you tried utilizing LinkedIn to set up informational interviews with others who are currently working or have worked for the San Antonio Police Department? Through LinkedIn, you can reach out to speak directly with someone who has gone through the process themselves to receive their advice. I’d suggest looking over ACP’s resource Navigating the Informational Interview Process (https://www.acp-usa.org/sites/default/files/resources-files/Navigating%20the%20Informational%20Interview%20Process.pdf) for tips on how to set one up.

If you aren’t already, I would also suggest following Michael Quinn on LinkedIn as well. He shares many useful resources about utilizing LinkedIn to its full potential to grow your network and develop those connections.
