Has anyone attended the Veterans National Small Business Conference and Expo in Detroit?

I will be attending the conference this coming week and I was wondering if anyone who has attended has any advice to offer. I am not an exhibitor or anything, I am just going to try to network and hopefully find someone who can make my product cheaper or someone who help me sell my idea.

Hi Dali,
I attended and stationed in my company’s booth in the past. Not know your product, here are some general suggestions:
• Bring a lot of business cards
• If you have, bring with you somewhat (color) professional look (not sketches on a napkin) product photos, specification and what is the market needs data. It can be one page or a booklet depending on your resources
• Prepare a good concise marketing verbal speech (less than 4 minutes) to convince the potential interest parties. Reasons why a company want to make and sell your products
• Prepare if a manufacturer can make your product less costly (never say making your product cheaper :-)), what incentive you will give them.

Good luck!
