Advice on landing more clients for career placements of veterans?

Veteran

I have been running my company for a little over a year and have had some loyal clients who consistently hire my candidates. My challenge is how to approach and land more companies looking to outsource for the hiring of veterans. My candidate base grows by at least 100 unemployed or seeking veterans a week. With that being said, I am on the verge of hiring some employees (disabled veterans who need to work from home), but have been having trouble in expansion beyond where I am at. Due to little overhead, I can compete easily with the larger competitors, but getting my foot in the door and landing the client has been the difficult step. Any advice, sites, and or contacts would be greatly appreciated. I want people to know my focus is to continue my personal and flexible services, but also to expand and really get some of the other severely wounded veterans I have encountered working. I have found from my personal experience and some of my wounded friends the hardest adversity our wounded men and women face is to provide for their family even with their limitations. If I can network, learn, and successfully grow, I can have a win win scenario for all parties involved. Thank you all and God Bless.

What is the "positioning statement" for your firm?

Who are your competitors?

Who are your target customers?

How do your competitors typically win business?

How have you won business and new clients?

What do you do better or differently compared to your competitors?

Thank you. I have definitely looked into the idea of getting the SDVOSB rating and competing, but did not know of the systems in place after that. I do meet all of the requirements, and will make that step. I know that states/federal have a recommended DBE quota and sometimes mandated by contract, but I did not know where to find the work/jobs that the companies put out solely for DBE company bid. I would love any more advice on this topic and thank you again.
