Harris School Solutions is seeking a Sales Account Executive to join our Schools Financial Management Systems Sales team. The individual selected for this role will be a highly energetic self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. They will interact directly with current Sales Managers, Account Executives, existing customers and prospects to promote sales of financial solutions and services.

Primary Functions

Develop and execute regional territory sales and marketing plan.
Proactively market and sell suite of solutions and services
Plan, Scheduled and Coordinate Resources for in-depth software demonstrations
Coordinate contract negotiations with prospect
Plan and execute targeted prospecting activities and events to drive leads.
Ensure the quality and timeliness of RFP responses for the territory
Record client info and progress in the sales CRM.
Forecast bookings and expenses realistically.
Maintain a sales pipeline to support sales goal achievement
Participate actively in regional conferences and user group meetings.
Conduct business with exceptional standard of ethics.
Build relationship with peers and customers.
Follow up with the customer after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, HR and or Sales and Marketing
Complex sales experience in software sales
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
Works effectively within a collaborative and cohesive, team based environment
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
Positive, results oriented mindset
Ability to multi-task effectively and to consistently meet assigned deadlines
Self-starter with ability to work well independently and in groups
Preferred: Experience with back office financial and administration system in the K12 or County Office of Education markets would be ideal.
