Going Home Medical Repatriation is seeking experienced RN’s in the south Florida area to work global contract positions. Great extra income opportunity for those with experience in ER, ICU and air ambulance transport. Home base will be Miami.

Medical Escort Registered Nurse (RN)

Conduct domestic and international commercial patient repatriations or non-medical escorts. Perform nursing duties such as medication administration, utilize medical directives, monitoring, and charting. Responsible for completing initial head to toe assessment of fit to fly status, this shall be completed on initial patient contact. Will communicate patient status updates to the flight nursing coordinator on call in a timely fashion. Clinical skills in emergency and/or intensive care preferred. RN will also assist clients with all aspects of the travel experience. This may include portering of wheelchair, assisting with luggage, and boarding of aircraft. While under contract for the organization any flight RN will be expected to uphold the company values regarding customer service and the pursuit of a better patient experience. This person reports to the COO, and the Medical Director.

RN Escort Qualifications / Certifications: (Individuals must meet the following)
Proof of State nursing licensing
At least, 2 years, recent full time bedside experience, critical care or ER preferred
Current BCLS (within last 2 years)
Current ACLS (within last 2 years)
Current PALS preferred
Current TNCC preferred
Proven leadership ability
Ability to work independently, and as part of multidisciplinary team
Excellent assessment / communication / decision making skills
Speak, read, write fluent English
Proficiency in other languages an asset
Valid Passport
Valid travel insurance
Proof of professional liability coverage
