Summary
Under the direction of the Consumer Loan Processing Supervisor, the Senior Consumer Loan Administrator is responsible for a variety of duties related to all consumer loan processing administrative functions, DMV functions as well as support functions related to a variety of member and dealership loans. Duties include but are not limited to data entry, filing, document preparation, auditing, and quality assurance. Works directly with members to develop, expand and maintain positive consumer lending relationships. Provides prompt, efficient, and accurate support to members, dealers, and co-workers.

Works closely with Lending Specialists and Relationship Specialists on DMV documents, Loan documents, loan fulfillment, including sending and receiving DMV and loan documents.

Assist Sr. DMV Specialist with all DMV duties.
Provides quality control for all DMV processes and documents. Reviews all applications for regulatory compliance and conformance.
Process or assist in processing all Gap refunds according to Regulation requirements.
Assists in training and directing branch employees when necessary.
Calculates payoffs on vehicle loans for dealerships while ensuring member loan retention.
Assist in quality control for all loans prior to funding. Reviews all applications for regulatory compliance and conformance.
Evaluates all loan packages received for funding for accuracy to minimize risk or loss.
Manages all aspects of approved employee loans including the maintenance of DMV documents, loan records, documents, and files.
Prepares and provides reports to management on the daily, weekly, and monthly progression of Consumer Loans’ performance to budget analysis.
Verifies information with members when required.
Assists the Direct funding process and procedures.
Assists management with the quality control, tracking and archiving of new account signature cards and updated questionnaires for Indirect Loans.
Help prepare new member packages.
Assist in balancing of DMV and or Gap GL’s.
May assist in training for Centralized Funders.
Assist in managing the daily tracking and distribution of all Indirect loans.
Processes all adjustments and changes on all consumer loans.
Distributes and manages all incoming fax and email documents for DMV, Underwriting and Processing.
Computes payment calculation verifying interest and principle calculations.
Understands how to calculate complex verifications of pay stubs/wages.
Understands LoansPQ and its application process.
Prepares and maintains a variety of loan records, documents, and files.
Assists members in understanding how their payments are posted to their accounts.
Responds to member problems and requests, when necessary, and assists with completion of forms and documents for loan changes and adjustments.
Performs within the lending limits approved by the Board of Directors.
Runs Kelley Blue Book®, AutoCheck®, computerized vehicle registrations and ChexSystems reports.
Manages distribution of all denial letters and maintains the storage process for audit purposes.
Works cooperatively with members, dealers, and fellow employees.
Resolves member and dealer concerns and questions.
Understands and remains current on LOANLINER® documents and resources.
Prepares Fed-Ex for Consumer Loans Department.
Manages all Consumer Loans supply orders.
Manages the relationship with vendor for all printer systems within Consumer Loans.

Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge. skill, and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this position.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge and understanding of consumer lending procedures, practices and policies and credit fundamentals as would normally be acquired through five years’ experience in branch operations and/or loans.

Knowledge
Experience with Symitar® and Loans PQ®.
CA DMV policies and procedures.
Advanced skills in Excel and Word.

Other Skills and Abilities
Operates a variety of office equipment and machines.
Ability to travel, attend, and participate in meetings, seminars, and conferences held before and after normal business hours that may require unaccompanied long-distance travel and overnight lodging.
