Job Description:
Posting for an outdoors and energetic family who are active, sporty and adventurous.
They have four children (11 year old boy/girl twins, 9 year old girl, 7 year old girl)
Additionally, they have three dogs (Berna doodles) who are an integral part of the family. They are English but have lived internationally for the last 2 decades. They have recently moved to NYC.
The Role:
Seeking a live-out, ROTA Nanny/Family Assistant. Currently have one live-out, ROTA Nanny/Family Assistant (Ex Mil Pol) and are looking for a second person to share the rota such that the family always have one Nanny/Family Assistant on duty, 365 days a year. The rota pattern is between 15 and 20 days on duty, followed by the same period off duty. Effectively 182.5 days’ work per annum. During term time the children are at school from 0800hrs to 1500hrs. During these hours the Nanny/Family Assistant can expect to:
• Run errands (shopping, drop offs, collections);
• Support the Executive Assistant (travel bookings, diary co-ordination, retail ordering);
• Support the Property Manager (overseeing contractors, checking property systems);
• Support the Children’s Parents.
• Help with the 3 dogs

During School Holidays and/or out of school hours Nanny/Family Assistant can expect to:
• Wake and assist the Children’s preparations for school/activities;
• General administration and organizational duties relating to the children;
• Undertake occasional driving to support Children’s activities within and out of the City;
• Oversee and support younger Children with homework, reading etc;
• Ensure Children have unpacked and repacked from school and assist them in their evening routine;
• Occasionally cook, or assist in cooking the Children nutritious, tasty meals;
• Oversee, monitor and guide the Children during any absence of their parents.

The family's preference is for a fabulous, fun, older sibling/mentor type caregiver; comfortable and familiar with a busy household with multiple children and who displays a real muck-in attitude. The family are close-knit, adventurous and always busy. They are looking for a Nanny/Family Assistant who will fit well into this dynamic, who is proactive, has a passion for the outdoors and healthy living, and who can keep up with their busy lives. Candidates should be comfortable working alongside the parents who are very present in their children's lives. Ideally the candidate should be:
• Confident and experienced car driver with a clean driving license, able to drive any of the family's large SUVs;
• Outgoing and energetic to keep up with a busy family lifestyle;
• Strong educator/tutor/mentor, able to assist parents with homework and learning;
• Previous Childcare/Nanny experience
• IT literate and able to operate effectively in WORD, EXCEL and OUTLOOK;
• Dog lover; confident and comfortable with multiple dogs;
• Spanish speaker [not required but is a +]; the children speak Spanish as their second language;
• Team player and excellent communicator; the home is fully staffed, so the rota Nanny/Family Assistant must be comfortable working alongside others and happy to pitch-in wherever necessary;
• NYC resident with a home in close proximity to the City and have by citizenship or other entitlement the right to work in the USA;
• Person of the utmost integrity; honest, trustworthy and utterly reliable;
• Person of excellent health, cleanliness and tidiness, but above all have significant stamina.

Other Points:
• Start date: immediately;
• Pay: by negation, reflective of experience and fit
• Employer Health Insurance provision;
• Travel and accommodation when required outside of NYC will be provided at Employers expense;
• Food and utilities whilst on duty provided by Employer.
