Job Description

Location: North Slope, Alaska

Schedule: 2 weeks on shift/ 2 weeks off or 3 weeks on/ 3 weeks off (part-time project, anticipated duration May - August with possible extension)

Job Summary:
Beacon is looking for a customer service driven, energic team member to provide admin/ logistics support to our remote medical team in managing COVID on-site on the North Slope of Alaska. Primary responsibilities will be providing a high level of data entry, tracking and coordinating logistics for employees who test positive while at work. This role will provide support for on-going client needs related to COVID.

Job Duties:
Act as single point of contact for coordination/ logistics
Travel planning and flight coordination
Liaison between client, effected individuals and Beacon's Monitoring Program
Administration of patient records, forms, EMR data entry, coordinating/ directing calls
Administration of reports, tracking data, contract tracing
Coordination of food services, housekeeping services, maintenance, IT&S, billeting
Act as rover/ expeditor

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma
Ability to deliver "rock star" customer service
Professional, polished appearance and demeanor
Must have a valid driver license
Prior north slope experience a bonus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good communication and people skills; work well in teams and in diverse groups of individuals
Ability to be flexible and adapt to rapidly changing environment and project scope.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of attention to detail
Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
Computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Mail
Organization and time management skills
Ability to focus on critical deliverables and high priority assignments
Ability to handle multiple tasks and switch between tasks quickly
Ability to demonstrate compassion and care in dealing with others

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:
Work conditions are such that significant time will be spent walking, standing, stooping, sitting. The employee will be working in a potentially high COVID-19 exposure environment and must be able to wear appropriate PPE. Exposure to anesthetic gases, blood and body fluids, sharps, and other health care occupational hazards is routine. Conditions will include exposure to hospital grade cleaning solutions, flammable solutions, and gases, e.g., alcohol and oxygen, as well as latex and other industrial chemicals.

Contingencies:
Offer contingent upon ability to pass a pre-employment physical, fit for duty assessment, drug testing, background check, and motor vehicle report.
