Seeking Engineering Support Technician for Thailand. Long term Employment

True North is seeking Engineering Support Technicians for several opportunities in our global supply chain. Engineering Support Technicians are responsible for providing support to our engineering department and customers by working effectively and efficiently with detail and focus.
Initial opportunities are in the Southeast Asia area. Thai background and Thai language skills are not required but very beneficial. Candidates with recent military experience in all engineering fields and experience in Southeast Asia are also desired.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Gather engineering data from a variety of sources; performing basic calculations
•Creating and/or reviewing detailed documentation, drawings and approval for production processes.
•Perform technical field service support for various projects.
•Help to ensure quality standards are adhered to and maintained.
•Build and maintain engineering part numbers and project libraries.
•Perform general administrative assistance by maintaining project plans.
•Adhering to all safety rules and regulations.

Education and Experience:
•High School Diploma or GED is required. Associates Degree in an engineering field is desired.
•Military experience in engineering specialties and ratings is also desired.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Must be able to read blue prints, schematics, diagrams and other types of technical documents.
•Must be able to read, comprehend and follow complex instructions and procedures.
•Computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook as well as Adobe Acrobat.
•Computer proficiency to research solutions and/or aiding in the search for needed materials.
•Experience in electrical or mechanical troubleshooting.
•Good math and measuring skills.
•Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while know how to prioritize work flow according to production demands.
