Sr. Financial Analyst
This is a hands-on position in a dynamic television production unit.  As a key member of the Finance Department, you will perform essential finance/accounting duties in an energetic, team environment supporting 21 st Century Fox Corporate. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare the monthly divisional and consolidated P&L financial statements
  • Provide detailed variance analysis for senior management and 21 st Century Fox (actual versus budget, forecast and
    prior year)
  • Prepare quarterly footnote disclosures
  • Review ultimates and analyze impact on the P&L
  • Participate in the design and implementation of automated functions and reports
  • Maintain general ledger
  • Perform annual SOX testing and assist in the preparation of the annual tax package
  • Compile financial information for external auditors
  • Handle various ad hoc projects and requests as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong accounting skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlook-ups, pivots, etc) and other MS Office programs
  • Experienced user of Oracle, PeopleSoft, and/or Hyperion preferred, but not required
  • Professional presentation, communication (both oral and written), analytical, organizational, and relationship building
    skills
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and meet hard deadlines for multiple projects
  • Ability to operate efficiently in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
  • At least three years of professional experience
  • Prior experience in public accounting or entertainment industry is preferred
