Field Sales Support Specialist

Job Overview:

• Provides field technical support for customers
• Performs field training for customers either onsite or using internet based methods
• Installs software on computers and network client machines to server based software and assists customers and distribution personnel with software upgrades
• Performs internal training and testing when new products or significant changes occur in existing products
• Provides feedback to corporate training group on training materials such as guides and quick reference cards
• Provides feedback to Marketing and Technical Support for purposes of resolving customer issues
• Assists Solution Architects with providing updated product and system training for Account Managers, Distribution field sales and independent distributors as requested
• Remains proficient and up–to-date in meter and system technology including software, both with Badger Meter products and competitive product offerings
• Assists with return material authorizations for all equipment with direction from Regional Manager and Solution Architect
• Responds to customer requests and questions in a timely manner
• Communicates effectively to both internal and external customers
• Conducts all activity in such a manner as to comply with all governmental requirements applicable to the sale of Badger Meter’s products
• Supports sales plan objectives
• Additional projects, tasks and/or assignments as assigned
