MTA Metro-North Railroad is hosting a skilled craft career fair.

Career Fair Details

MTA Metro-North Railroad will be hosting three invitation only skilled-craft career fairs at various locations throughout the Metro-North territory. We encourage those with an interest in the skilled crafts listed below to apply to attend this fair for a chance to meet one-on-one with MNR HR representatives and discuss your skills/abilities with hiring department officials.

Dates and Locations

• Monday, September 10, 2018 - Brooklyn, NY

• Saturday, September 22, 2018 - East Haven, CT

• Thursday, October 11, 2018 - Yonkers, NY

Positions To Be Highlighted

Electrical positions including: Electronic Specialist, Electrical Tester, M of E Railcar Electrician, Radio Maintainer, Substation Electrician, Third Rail Electrician, Utility Line Workers, Wiremen.

Mechanical positions including: Carmen Wreck Crew (freight/Wreck Gang Carmen), Ironworker, Machinist, Mason, Pipefitter, Plumber, Sheet-metal Worker, Welder.

Other Information

This is an invitation-only event. If selected to attend, you will receive an email confirmation detailing the time and location of the career fair you are scheduled to attend. Selected participants will be scheduled for one of the following time slots:

9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

How to Register

All potential career fair participants must apply online to be invited to the career fair. Metro-North Railroad will not accept hard copies of resumes.
