About Martinus

I'm a Dutch native who moved to the United States in 2001, and now lives in San Antonio, TX. I've worked in technology since 1992, the last 10 of which I've spent with Microsoft in its Services organization. As a Support Practice Manager I lead a team of around 15 Service Delivery Managers and am responsible for all aspects of the business, including but not limited to revenue attainment, customer satisfaction, delivery excellence and people management.
Although I do not have a military background personally, San Antonio is home to a thriving community of active, retired and reserve military. Having worked at organizations like USAA, and through participation in military job fairs and other recruiting events, I am relatively familiar with the challenges that face veterans as they aspire to (re)enter the job market and transition into a civilian career. As I seek to give back to the community, I am hopeful that my experience and connections to an ever expanding technology industry will prove to be of some benefit to those interested in further exploring their opportunities.
