I am a retired Senior Chief Petty Officer. Retired in July of 2015. I am currently working with Alcoa in Hampton, Virginia as an Electrical Engineer. I have a BS in Electronics Engineering Technology from ECPI. My transition was nerve racking to say the least. I found that the hardest part was identifying jobs and what they actually expect, and being able to translate my experience into that field. Still, after 6 months of employment, I am finding more and more applications for my previous experiences.
