About Tony
I made the Military-to-Civilian transfer myself in 1984 from the USAF. I recognize that it's MUCH different from coming home from war in 2014, but the task remains the same; leveraging military skills to the needs of employers. It's a Marketing problem at first, then a VERY important mental shift to align with the mission of the company.
I started "Martial Arts In The Workplace" to assist young people with the transition from school to entry-level employment (and to help company leadership create and maintain an environment of Excellence). Speaking with the Texas Veterans Commission made me aware of the critical need for help in this application. I made a living for many years in the Entertainment (and Marketing) field, made possible by the sacrifices of our men and women in harms way, and I feel strongly about "giving back" in this way.
In Civilian life I've managed businesses from Radio to Manufacturing (both Corporate and "mom and pop", and worked as a welder, carpenter, truck driver, On-Air Radio personality, and Martial Arts Instructor.
I'm making my own transition from fill-time Musician to Motivational Speaker, and must be careful with my time. As things pick up, I'll have more energy to put into this project, but you will ALWAYS get the best that I have.
