About Thomas

My name is Thomas. I am 39 years old and was medically retired in 2016 after 13 years in the Army as an Airborne Sapper (Combat Engineer). I have attended and graduated several demolition courses and robotic exploitation courses. I graduated the Advanced Leadersip Course with high honors. I was deployed to Iraq in 2004, 2006, and 2007, and to Afghanistan in 2010, 2011, and 2013.
I have been a student at Boise State University since the fall of 2016 and I will graduate this April with a Multi-Disciplinary Degree with a focus in Leadership, Management, and Business. I also have a minor in German Business and am fluent in written, spoken, and reading German. My current GPA is 3.97 and will graduate Suma Cum Laude.
In addition, I obtained a certification in organizational leadership.
My interest is in Project Management. I am currently studying for the PMP (Project Management Professional) exam that I will take towards the end of May or early June after I complete my PMI (Project Management Institute) boot camp.
I am the father of five boys and the husband to one woman. Our kids are our passion and we strive to provide for them and love them.

I would love to work for a company that values innovation and teamwork and where a creative mind can flourish. Traveling, as part of my job is also something that I am interested in. As our world becomes more and more globalized it is important to have people with cultural and linguistic understanding of foreign countries.
