Led the 5-person team that radically altered the corporation’s direction by convincing corporate leadership to pursue opportunities in emerging markets like sense and avoid sensors, data fusion and chem/bio assay vice traditional radar and network pursuits.
• Successfully activated the “first ever” Republic of Georgia Border Security Network that delivered an operational system 3 weeks ahead of schedule and 13% under budget. Directed the installation team that completed the 6 month/ $15M project in 5 months at a cost of $13.1M.
• Capture Manager for the successful $100M Customs & Border Protection Ultra Light Aerial Detection win.
• Successfully negotiated long-term funding commitments from corporate sponsors and obtained a donated 65 passenger plane with crew for Honor Flight, Syracuse’s initial trip to Washington DC.
