Over 10+ years of experience in career development and talent acquisition.
Currently a career coach in Columbia University's international and public affairs professional graduate school, where I work extensively with military veterans seeking career transitions into civilian roles. Areas of expertise include job search strategy, self-assessment, resume/LinkedIn profile development, personal branding, and interview preparation.
I know that it can be particularly challenging for veterans to communicate their military experiences and achievements in a way that is relatable and that resonates with others (e.g. hiring managers). I find it enjoyable and challenging to help veterans think through this process, as well as helping them to confidently articulate how their transferable skills and experiences would be an asset to any organization.
