About Joshua
Joshua G. Heimann is the Head of Sales & Business Development for the International Division of Wealth Management USA at UBS Financial Services. Previously, he was the Director of UBS Financial Service’s Texas International Complex and Branch Office Manager of the San Francisco office. Josh joined UBS in 2003 as Sales Manager in the New York International office (AE).
Prior to joining UBS International in 2003, Mr. Heimann was a Sales Manager in the New York International office of Merrill Lynch (FO) as well as the Program Director of Merrill’s International Private Wealth Management Associate Training Program. Josh began his career with Republic National Bank of New York and served in various management positions there, including assignments in trading, international private banking, commercial lending, international operations (based in Buenos Aires, Argentina), and as assistant to the President. Upon completion of the merger with HSBC in January of 2000, Mr. Heimann was appointed as the Chief Administrative Officer for Treasury and International Private Banking for HSBC Bank USA.
Mr. Heimann was born in New York City and attended the Trinity School. He graduated from Hampshire College with a B.A. in Third World Studies and went on to participate in the Executive Program at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business of New York University where he received an M.B.A. in Finance. Mr. Heimann has also been a Trustee of the Citizens Budget Commission, a member of the Hong Kong Association of Northern California, and a "Committeeman" on the International Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Since returning to New York in 2013, Mr. Heimann has also become an advocate for financial literacy and has created programs both for the Urban Assembly School of Business for Young Women and LaGuardia Community College. He has also been a guest lecturer both at Venture for America and at the Stern School of Business at NYU on the topic of wealth management.
