OIC, 2010 – Present
• Officer in Charge for US Army Reserve 288th Quartermaster Company Detachment in Corpus Christi, TX with 70+ soldiers.
• Mission is to supervise, direct and coordinate detachment operations one weekend per month and three weeks in July.
• Develop, prepare and deploy technically and tactically proficient detachment in water purification, storage and distribution.
Deputy S2/Safety, 2010 – 2011
• Supervised as S-2/ Safety Officer for managing over 800 soldier’s Personal, Physical and Information Security and Safety.
• Screened soldiers for security clearances & Military Intelligence up to the secret level.
• Trained in Contract Officer Representative (COR), FBCB2/BFT Satellite systems, Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconaissance (ISR) and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) training.
Brigade Plans Officer, 2009-2010
• 4th Sustainment Brigade S-3 Plans department team leader developing Quarterly Training Briefs, Arrmy Force Generation Models (ARFORGEN) and Training Guidance for over 3500 soldiers.
Embedded Training Team Officer, 2008-2009
• Deployed to Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan acting as the Embedded Transition Team mentor for the 209th Afghan National Army Public Affairs Office. Camp Spann embedded mentors from Germany, Great Britain, France, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Croatia and several other NATO nations.
• Received the NATO Award for working with other NATO nations in the training of the Afghan Army.
• LTG Cone told me at the LT Dan Ban concert that my mentor, MG Murad Ali, is now in charge of the Afghan Army.
• Learned extensively the languages, customs and cultures of the middle eastern areas.
Platoon Leader, 2006-2008
• Managed 65+ soldiers including five Non-Commissioned officers while acting as a Platoon Leader for 664th Ordnance Company and 96th Transportation Company at Fort Hood, TX..
• Occasionally acted as interim Executive Officer or Commander for 260+ soldiers.
• Completed the Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, GA and Ordnance (Maintenance & Munitions) Officer Basic Course at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in 2006.
Automated Logistician, 2002-2006
• Trained as an Automated Logistician (92A) responsible for procurement, recycling and promulgation of maintenance parts for U.S. Army Equipment.
• Enlisted in the US Army after our nation was attacked on 9/11/01. This decision can be discussed during interview.
• Responsible for the Prescribed Load List (PLL) of over $40 million worth of Armor equipment while stationed in Vilseck, Germany from November, 2002 until August of 2005. Stationed with 303rd Military Intelligence to train for Officer Candidate School.
• Deployed to Kirkuk, Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom as the Initial Assault Task Force 1-63 Armor Battalion where we flew C-17s ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_C-17_Globemaster_III ) into combat. Task Force 1-63 was the first Armor Battalion in combat history to fly into battle.
