About C.J.
I am a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Business School where I received my Bachelors of Science in Marketing. My career experience consists of working within Human Resources on the recruiting side working in both a corporate and 3rd party staffing firm setting. So far, my main focus of recruiting has been on the technical side of IT but I also have experience recruiting administrative professionals as well as students for undergrad and graduate internships. At my current role in the Software Engineering Institute, I currently recruit IT professionals with a cyber security background. Our CERT program is one of the leaders in this area and is well respected around the country. The SEI is an FFRDC government contractor, but we also have strong ties to Carnegie Mellon University.
One of my biggest passions in life is helping people. I currently coach a Special Olympics team where I am the head coach year round for three different sports. I have a group of volunteers I supervise who help me as well. Being able to teach these kids is the highlight of my week each week and to be part of their lives is truly a blessing.
