About Robert
I am a former Marine Corps Officer (1999-2009). I served as a platoon commander in the infantry, as a staff intelligence officer, instructor and as a Marine Special Operations Officer in the newly formed Marine Special Operations Command.
After leaving the service I received my MBA from NC State University. While in school I was a strategic business analyst in the pharmaceutical industry and as a business development officer in the defense R&D industry.
In my current role, I am the account manager for all special operations accounts in USSOCOM and foreign SOF customers at Protonex Tech Corp in the defense power & energy industry.
I would like to advise transitioning members on the benefits and opportunities of civilian life and help where I can to connect the dots in their next phase of professional life.
My next phase in life will be attending medical school at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Virginia. I hope to be a fully licensed physician practicing in family medicine, emergency medicine or orthopedics.
I would like to practice in a rural location and additionally to my main practice provide contracted services to select clients across the country.
