About Christopher

Chris Edelen is a Marine Corps Captain and current Masters in Global Leadership candidate at the University of San Diego. Chris has extensive experience in operational planning, intelligence analysis, and project management. Since beginning his career in the Marine Corps in 2006, Chris has led platoons through two combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. His experience has involved entrepreneurial ventures through building foreign military forces. After 7 years of wartime service, Chris is actively pursuing a career in business development and project management. As a Ground Intelligence Officer, he has learned to operate with minimal guidance, extreme uncertainty and to deliver innovative solutions under considerable pressure. His analytical skills are complemented by a track record of leadership and responsibility, developed in front of troops in combat and polished as a special staff officer advising senior managers on high-stakes decisions affecting thousands of Marines.

Chris holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from The University of Arizona and a Master’s of Science degree in Global Leadership from the University of San Diego.
