About Nicole
I have over 20 years of experience in human resources working for large, global organizations in IT, high tech, engineering, health care and professional services.
I don't think transitioning to civilian life should be the hardest thing a vet ever has to do, and yet if often is. On a personal side, I am married to an Air Force veteran, who retired after 28 years in service to our country. My father and my aunt both served in the Army. I lost a dear high school friend in the first gulf war and a close family friend had life-altering injuries from an IED while serving in Afghanistan. This leads to my passion - which is helping those who have served our country. I hope someday to run a non-profit pairing service animals with vets. Until then, I volunteer helping vets with writing resumes, interviewing skills and other advice on transitioning within the workforce.
