About Jason
I am an Annapolis-trained systems engineer with a talent for software development and a deeply mathematical streak. In 2012, after over a decade writing quantitative analysis software in and around finance, I decided to focus on the design and implementation of Master Data Management and Data Quality systems and the development of software tools to empower Data Governance Organizations and the engineers who serve them.
Been doing that ever since.
SPECIALTIES
► Data Management Strategy & Consulting. Data Management projects are high-cost, high-risk, and high-profile. Their requirements are massively complex and often poorly articulated. I have navigated this landscape many times, and I know which approaches are most likely to succeed.
► Data Management System Implementation. I use the Markit EDM platform—in combination with the entire Microsoft development stack—to design and implement complex data pipeline systems featuring stable operations, top-tier performance, and rich, intuitive web-based user interfaces.
► Data Management Tool Development. No development platform is complete. I use the Microsoft development stack to bridge the gap between requirement and capability with custom software to automate manual processes, streamline development, and rationalize requirements definition and testing.
