About Jei

Howdy! I grew up in El Paso, Texas, and currently live in Austin, Texas. I attended Austin Community College and The University of Texas at Austin, and earned my B.B.A. in MIS (Management Information Systems) from UT Austin in 1995.

Over the years, I've done a LOT of different things in the Information Technology field; everything from Mobile App and Web Development, to Network Administration. I also enjoy the Creative side of things, such as Graphic Design and Writing and have done some Animation and Interactive Media development as well (eLearning).

At the same time, I love being independent and an Entrepreneur, and have started several small businesses over the years. Currently, I'm the "Jack of All Things Tech" for a non-profit organization in South Texas. We focus on young adults with Special Needs, as well as a Jail Diversion program for individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI). Our program strives to remove individuals with Mental Illness from local/county jails in Texas, where they invariably don't receive the care they need, nor the support network to become happy, healthy, productive members of society.
