About Wendy

I am a US Navy veteran from way back in the late 70's. My military career guided me into my long time life with computers and technology; and paid for my college education. IBM helped me get my MBA. I've been with IBM 30 years now and have 'been there / done that'. My reputation is in getting things DONE and being a (creative) WILD DUCK. I've held many types of positions over the years - programmer, customer service, manager, project manager in service delivery, networking, consulting and teaching. These days I work in University Relations which allows me to interact with a lot of college students. I'm proud to have served the US and would like to give back to some of my colleagues. Work is important to me, and I like reading, hiking, nature, theater, music and dogs.
