About Jeffrey
I have been working in recruiting and human resources since 2003 after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a degree in Finance. Upon graduation, I moved to Washington, DC and started working at staffing firm where I quickly worked my way into the top 10 out of 650+ recruiters. While I learned a lot, my goal was to get into corporate recruiting and human resources. I was able to accomplish that with a small government contracting firm and I focused on corporate hiring, human resources and business development. This position also allowed me to get exposure hiring contractors for federal agencies such as the DoS, DHS, and FBI.
I did enjoy Washington, DC but my heart was always in Pittsburgh. I moved home in 2008 and joined the SEI as a recruiter. I have worked my way up to become the Manager of Staffing and Recruiting. While my primary focus is in recruiting, I am involved in employee relations, talent management, salary review, promotion review, diversity and more. I recently graduated with highest distinction from Carnegie Mellon University with a master’s degree in Public Management.
