About STEPHEN
My name is Stephen Hurt.
Service:
I am a veteran Hospital Corpsman Chief Petty Officer in the Navy. I was a Senior Enlisted Leader for a 56 member hospital unit consisting of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses and Navy Corpsman. While on active duty, I managed an extremely busy ENT clinic and have earned 1 Navy Commendation Medal, and 3 Naval Achievement Medals for outstanding service.
Current Employer:
I am currently employed full time as an Implementation consultant for Change HealthCare (formerly McKesson). Previously employed full time in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Luthern Medical Center as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), with 15 years of experience in cardiology.
Education:
I hold and Executive MBA from E. Saunders Business School from R.I.T. I have a B.S. in Biological Science with a Minor in History from Virginia Commonwealth University. I also hold certifications in Essentials of Project management, and am a Six Sigma Green Belt in Healthcare administration.
