I have started and sold 4 small businesses employing a total of 240+ employees over a long career. I have also started and crashed 2 small businesses so I know what failure is like, and some of the lessons there.
I have built these business from scratch with no capital on proprietary products which we manufactured. I have been through the patent process and still retain some of them.
I can answer questions about any and all of the trades performed in the construction industry.
I personally interviewed and hired each and every one of my employees over the years. I can tell you what I look for, and more importantly, what I don't look for. Sometimes, you can make a job for yourself. I have hired men or women on that basis as well. I am the Patriarch of a family of 18, so far, happily married to the same woman for the last 43 years. Love is great.
