About Jim

I served on active duty in the Navy from June 1969 through July 1978 having graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1973. My Naval Reserve service started in 1978 and ended in 1994 when I retired as a Commander, Supply Corps. I worked in the chemical technology sector as a sales engineer for 4 years winning several sales awards. I worked as a software developer & architect in 2 start ups, transitioning to large system software quality, where I've worked as a test manager, global practice director, and test program director for quality teams of up to 230 members.

As well I'm a licensed Religious Science Practitioner (Non-denominational Spiritual Coach) engaged in coaching, supportive prayer, class instructor, and Sunday speaker.

I'm a fervent believer in human nobility and capacity. There are no mistakes. Any sense of failure does not line up with reality. I know that with choice, one can develop and evolve into a joyful, fulfilling, and productive life.

I love to walk in nature, sail, films, self development, and would like to get back into fishing (it's been years!)
