About Marisa

I work in corporate strategy for a multi-national life science company. I have 10+ years experience in Operations management leading production and engineering teams in the automotive industry. Since joining the life sciences field, I've established and led a program management office supporting R&D and hardware / software product development. My current assignment is leading a process for executing strategic plans in our Clinical Trials division. I have a BS in Management with a focus on Ops and Industrial Engineering, an MBA with a focus on Nonprofit Management, and am a certified Project Management Professional. I'm passionate about community service, advancing equality and diversity and enjoy all things outdoors- backpacking, cycling, kayaking and hiking- especially in the redwoods!
