About Phil
My name is Phil Goldstine. I live in Anchorage, Alaska and I work as a defense contractor and senior trainer for General Dynamics Information Technology. I retired from the Army in 2010, and my divorce was finalized after 14 years of marriage. I've never been happier....or more broke. Previously, I earned an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Central Texas College. Now, I'm pursuing a BS in Management from UoP. The intent of this degree is to enable a broad spectrum of employment possibilities, including managing my own business, a flexible schedule, and the ability to reside in multiple locations annually. Fishing has been my life’s greatest passion. I currently own and operate Fish Ranger!, Inc., a Guide Service, Custom Rod Shop, and Fish Art Studio. I have completed many tasks in starting up my new business, including attendance and graduation from LSU's Entrepreneur Bootcamp for Veteran's with disabilities, where I won a pitch presentation award. This was a great opportunity and I learned a great deal. I appreciate and look forward to an opportunity where I may receive some guidance and mentorship from knowledgeable professionals.
