About david

David Cho, Director, is a member of the Sourcing and Vendor Management (SVM) team within BlackRock's Business Finance Organization. David leads global sourcing initiatives for multiple categories across BlackRock's IT infrastructure including Network Telecommunications Services and Enterprise Storage supporting a broad range of the Firm's technology leaders.

Mr. Cho joined BlackRock in 2013. His previous professional experience includes IBM, JP Morgan Chase, Deloitte Consulting, Hawaiian Telcom, Archstone Consulting and KPMG. He steered a broad number of IT-focused global strategic sourcing initiatives for large enterprise clients both in the US and Asia and also led operations rollouts for two emerging market asset management firms.

Mr. Cho earned a BA in 1996 at Boston College and delivered sourcing lectures as a non-faculty speaker for Boston College's Carroll School of Management as recently as 2011.
