About Jacinda
My passion is to protect human rights. I believe helping people in any way I can promotes my goal of protecting human rights. The best way I know how to help people is giving them the power to write job applications.
I fell in love with writing when I was in high school because I loved the challenge to empower to myself. I was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy like Lou Gehrig's disease. So, I have been completely paralyzed my whole life. Words were my power to create movement, but I was never good at writing. So, I made it my mission to be the best writer I could be.
I got a double Bachelor's of Arts degree at the University of California, Berkeley in Rhetoric and Political Science to no longer be a voice just for myself, but others too. After I graduated in 2007, I was a human rights journalist until 2013 when I started writing my masters dissertation online at the University of Portsmouth in International Criminal Justice to better serve victims of human rights abuses.
I am still working on finishing my dissertation, but want to volunteer my free time to help others.
