About Carl
I'm a 72 year old USAF veteran of a bygone era, having served as a jet engine mechanic in SAC (Strategic Air Command) from 1960 until 1964. Many of the career choices available then are no longer viable, but have been replaced by equal or better opportunities.
I spent my entire career as a mechanic and machinist in the automotive service industry repairing cars, trucks, motorhomes and construction equipment. During that time, I owned two repair facilities of my own for 28 years; once having five employees. I also made efforts to improve the industry by working with/for trade organizations, vocational programs and advisory groups.
I welcome all veterans back into civilian life, thank you for your service, and hope you'll freely contact me if I may aid you in establishing a successful career.
