About Monica

Monica offers 20 years of experience in the financial services industry in the areas of Production, Recruiting and Training & Development.
She joined the corporate headquarters of AXA in 2005, assisting in the growth of various business areas, including expansion of sales throughout the company’s existing client base, implementation of relationship initiatives, such as partnerships with CPA and Legal firms, and mentoring programs to partner senior financial advisors with new talent.
Monica also headed a Profitable Growth team that focused on increasing sales volumes across the firm, achieving unprecedented growth rates nationally. Monica directed AXA’s National Recruiting group from 2009 to 2011, which focused on the acquisition of strong field talent and training of field managers to attract quality candidates. She also represented AXA US in an international initiative with 10 additional countries, traveling internationally for collaboration efforts.
She also served as the Lead Relationship Manager in the Affinity/Association business.
From 2011 to 2014, Monica headed the Competitive Intelligence and Training departments of a financial services recruiting firm with clients such as AXA, MassMutual, Raymond James, Securian, Cambridge, Prudential, and other top and boutique firms within the industry, where she enhanced working relationships with these clients to expand their reach within the industry and across their individual client bases and target markets.

Monica serves as the Past Commander of the USCG Auxiliary unit in New York Harbor. She teaches public education courses on boating safety, inspects vessels for safety requirements, performs security patrols on the water, served as a Public Relations officer for 8 years on the East Coast, as an interpreter for the Department of Homeland Security, and a chef aboard vessels and on military stations.
She is also a member of Toastmasters International and a Cubmaster and Den Leader for Cub Scouts and a Merit Badge Counselor in Motorboating, Emergency Preparedness, Cooking, Photography, and Public Speaking.
