About Sami

My talent acquisition journey started in 2012 when I volunteered to provide temporary sourcing support for entry-level talent. I got hooked right away on creating connections, being a company ambassador in my community and influencing strategic solutions.

Today, I tell data-driven stories. I focus on social media strategy, branding and pipeline analytics as a means to finding the right talent. I advocate for the teams that I work with. I create partnerships and together, we drive positive change.

I joined Tyson Foods in 2018 and haven't looked back. Alongside the Fresh Meats, Corporate Services and International TA team, I provide full-cycle recruiting for a variety of field and corporate roles. I strive to be caring, creative, candid, committed and collaborative every day.

I am involved in Toastmasters, Tyson Fresh Meats Women's Business Resource Group for Leadership Development/Team Member Engagement and as a member of the Network of Executive Women. I am passionate about what I do and am always recruiting. Heck, it's even on my license plate, "RECRUTR". I am grateful and humbled by what I've had the opportunity to be a part of and can't wait to see what's next.

Current goals: Stay out of my comfort zone. Continue to learn the business. Keep adding value to the world-changing work our team does everyday.

I am also a wife, alchemist, and cat lady. I love karaoke, country living and taste testing absolutely EVERYTHING from a good smorgasbord. I'm here to learn, network, share and grow. Let's connect!
