Being self-employed is something I never dreamed I could do because I was never a particularly ambitious individual. I was always an average student, only occasionally excelling and often failing. Overcoming the bipolar disorder and remaining stable since 2010, I've come to believe that anything is possible if I want it badly enough. One of the ways I've been able to grow my business is by volunteering my time to help those who are struggling. I serve on the board of directors for my local homeless shelter and also facilitate a faith-based support group for people afflicted with mental illness as well as loved ones who are looking for more effective ways to help. I am working on several manuscripts and have hopes of becoming a published author.
