About Michael

I am Mike Adams and I have been in the Navy for 26 years. I am married and have 5 kids who keep me busy. I have been a Navy Chief since 2004 and taking care of my Sailors for the majority of my adult life. I have a BS in Adult and Career Education and am 4 classes away from my MBA in Human Resource Management. I took some time away from classes to focus on my transition and to work on earning the SPHR certification. I am looking for an HR Generalist or higher role in the Jacksonville, FL area. I am passionate about several things: taking care of my family and giving them all of the things that I wasn't able to get growing up; woodworking (although, this is just a dream mostly, as I have not been able to do really anything due to time/space/required equipment); and Auburn Tigers football!
