About Ghislain
I currently work in global health with CDC Global Health Center. I was a Presidential Management Fellow with State Department. The Presidential Management Fellowship(PMF) Program is a flagship and highly selective hiring initiative that brings talented graduates at mid-level management position within various federal agencies for two years.
Prior to working with the State Department, I served as combat medic with the US Army, of which a year-long tour was completed in Iraq.
I hold a Master of Public Health (MPH) with an emphasis in community engagement. In August 2016, I also completed an MBA with Texas A&M University. I am passionate about health, pharmaceuticals, especially opportunities to get involved in activities that improve drugs access to the needy through the world.
Social impact is very important to me as I believe in touching people lives, while adding value to business operations I support.
I am proactive, world-oriented, and seek to start with social enterprises that lift people out of poverty. Happy to talk to anyone who has or had similar experiences, especially how they transition from 9 to 5pm job to be fully engaged in own business. Ideally, the enterprise will be operating primarily in developing countries.
