About Bettina
Formerly a development executive for HBO Films, I now am lead faculty for the MFA in Professional Screenwriting at National University in California (highly accredited and non profit). Our program and university has many vets and active military as students. The MFA in Pro Screenwriting is hybrid-online except for 2 weeks in Los Angeles. This makes is very doable for students who live in other states and have full time jobs and families. I also have many entertainment industry connections for vets looking to learn about working in the film business (not necessarily as screenwriters). This could be as crew or as filmmakers. I am also a Fulbright Scholar candidate and work internationally teaching about 'Cinematic Storytelling Across Cultures.' I am happy to brainstorm with any interested vets about the potential to work in the exciting world of film, television and transmedia.
