About Joshua

Transitioning military officer with over eight years of experience working in various leadership roles in the U.S. and abroad. Recently served as Personnel Exchange Program Officer for a senior-level staff in the Italian Navy. In my previous assignment, I served as the deputy director of a department consisting of 110 personnel at Coastal Riverine Squadron Two (CRS-2). There, I had the opportunity to practice leadership, operational planning, and personnel administration. Prior to that, I served as an Engineering Division Officer onboard the amphibious warship USS Gunston Hall. This position gave me extensive experience with overseeing maintenance scheduling and accomplishment.

Professionally, I have a passion for improving processes. Some of the most professionally satisfying moments of my career have been when my team was able to implement faster, better, and more economical ways of doing things. Personally, I enjoy travel though I probably will be able to do a lot of it in the short term.

I hold two bachelor's degrees from the University of New Haven, one in Political Science and one in Criminal Justice.
